Something I'm meditating on the last couple of days is an idea I read on someone's blog, or on one of the internet boards I'm part of:
Raising my children is not a detour, or a diversion, in my life that temporarily keeps me from my goals, it IS my life work.
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."--Hebrews 12:1

- I'm a wife and mother of three boys. I want to stay on the road to my home in heaven. I came "home" to the catholic faith in 2005. And more and more every day, my heart is turned to my home on a dead-end road in Wisconsin and the blessings that dwell therein.
